Objectives

The Department of Art Education aims at:

• Preparing art education teacher for pre university stage in keeping with latest developments.
• Preparing qualified arts staff in various art education fields to develop and implement programs to serve the society in the areas of crafts, small industries, arts, media and civil society organizations (interested in culture and arts), museums, mental health and talents discovering and care.
• Developing training programs for all personals working in art education field in order to improve their skills and raise the environmental awareness, artistic culture on basis of sustainable development.
• Cooperation with local, Arab and international associations to serve art education issues and community participation.
• Continuous development and conducting researches on multimedia and art production.
